Membership

  

Your association needs your membership to support its activities on behalf of the members and your profession. All memberships are current for a full calendar year (Jan-Dec) - renewals due by January 31st each year.

 

As of  2013 - "Agency" Memberships! Organizations with eight (8) or more employees will have the opportunity to register their entire agency at a discounted rate. See the "CAPS Agency Membership" form below!

Level I Membership (Individual): Pretrial and Diversion Services Professionals: (employees of County, State or Federally operated Pretrial and Diversion Services departments). Benefits to you...

  • Right to run for and hold Executive Committee Office

  • Right to elect Executive Committee Officers 

  • Right to nominate Level I members for Executive Committee elections

  • Opportunity to attend Executive Committee meetings and provide feedback to the Executive Committee

  • Eligibility for training scholarship funds to the annual NAPSA training conference

  • Right to attend all non-fee trainings, as well as the annual CAPS training, at a reduced rate

  • Right to attend the annual NAPSA training conference at a reduced rate as a member of a NAPSA affiliate organization (CAPS)

  • Training certificates

Level III Membership: Individuals, students, volunteers, interns, service provider employees: (ie: treatment providers) and Criminal Justice Professionals not employed in either the Pretrial or Diversion Services fields (ie: Probation, Parole, Community Corrections).

  • Right to attend all non-fee trainings and events held by CAPS, as well as the annual CAPS training

  • Training certificates
